OS can have some context about what is happening

OS have a track-list of what is changed recently...
so that all applications can co-work together
example if we take a screenshot and open gimp, there will be shortcut key like Ctrl+Alt+R to load the file respective to application, in this case the last saved picture.

for every application, there is a entry point like this. for example if we have downloaded a DOC and if we launch an office application, it shud ask in the splash screen whether to load the last saved(i.e downloaded doc) doc file

Software that uses OCR

hav an idea for a software - a software that uses OCRit works like this

1. Open software
2. Select an area on the screen
3. The software converts text in that area into actual text
4. Additionally it has translation facilities

How about that?

Update 1:
Extra Function: the software gets a pdf as i/p and converts the {text in pics} into text
